Stephen Lobb

Steve is primarily responsible for origination, structuring and placement.
Steve headed up Bank Of America’s operations in Mexico in the years 1999 and 2000. Former Head of Fixed Income and Leveraged Finance at Canaccord Genuity. While at Canaccord, Steve built the Private Capital Solutions business, a subset of fixed income and capital markets, which focused on advising growth companies on strategic capital raising. Steve’s other roles have included Global Head of Credit Sales at Société Générale, Global Head of Structured Credit at ABN AMRO / Royal Bank of Scotland, and Head of Structured Credit for North America at Credit Suisse.
Steve holds a BA with concentration in economics from Huron College at The University of Western Ontario. He is a dual British and Canadian citizen.
Robert Goodman
Partner
Bob is primarily responsible for transaction advisory, financial modelling, structuring, and due diligence.
Over his thirty years of experience in the finance industry, Bob has worked as an analyst across a range of sectors of the capital markets including distressed and par debt, convertible securities, private and public equity and bank debt and a range of industries including general industrials, energy, transportation, building products, restaurants, and special situations. Mr. Goodman has also performed extensive work structuring and marketing primary debt offerings in the private and public markets. He started his career at Goldman Sachs as part of the Proprietary Accounting and Risk Analysis Group, performing accounting and fixed income risk analysis and subsequently moved to Goldman Sachs Asset Management working as a research analyst for a high yield fund until 1993. From 1993 to 2011, Bob was a Senior Research Analyst and Principal at CRT Capital Group before moving to Global Hunter Securities as Senior Desk Analyst and Managing Director. From 2013 to 2015, Mr. Goodman was a Managing Director at Canaccord Genuity Inc. working in high yield debt research and private debt origination.
Bob has a B.A., magna cum laude, in Economics from Yale University, and an MBA in Finance from New York University Stern School of Business.
William Swenson

Bill is primarily responsible for origination, structuring and placement.
William has over 30 years of experience in the financial markets focusing on the leveraged finance and debt businesses. He began his career in 1983 as a fixed income trader for Citibank in NY where he traded a series of debt products in NY, London and Toronto. He managed teams of traders in NY and was the head of fixed income sales and trading for Citi’s Toronto broker/dealer in 1986-19877. He moved to leveraged finance at Citi in 1988 specialising in large capitalization syndications. He moved to a series of small trading platforms in the early 1990’s working on distressed and performing bank loans. In 1995 he moved to CIBC World Markets, where his role grew to that of Global Head of Loan Sales and Trading. He then moved to a similar role for the CIT Group, Inc. where he was eventually Global Head of Capital Markets. His responsibilities were to start and build several debt related businesses including loan syndications, trading, derivatives, private placements and securitizations. He left CIT in 2007 to advise several clients on capital raising efforts and bankruptcy-related issues and then joined Guggenheim Securities in 2010. He moved to North Sea Partners LLC in 2011 to raise capital for the firm’s corporate clients in the telecom, energy and transportation industries. He moved to Canaccord Genuity in March of 2014 as part of an effort to raise capital for clients of the firm in private debt and equity markets.
Bill is a graduate of Dartmouth College and holds a Master’s Degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
George O'Dowd

George is primarily responsible for operations and compliance.
George has over 25 years’ experience in the structured finance market, specialising in credit derivatives and mortgage-backed securities in the US. He was formerly Managing Director and head of structured credit trading for the NY office of Nomura Securities with responsibility for structuring and distribution. Prior to that, George was the New York head of Credit Trading for Commerzbank which included bond trading, derivatives and structured products. He has worked on large bank balance sheet restructuring and recapitalisation transactions at JPMorgan and was part of the group that developed the first securitisation of credit default swaps at Swiss Bank in 1997. Previously, George was involved with US mortgage-backed securities structuring and investing at Alliance Capital and Hyperion Capital Management in NY. George joined Eden Rock in May 2007 and is responsible for the management of ERG Asset Management in the US, where he also sits on its executive committee. He is a board member of Northstar Financial Services Ltd. George is also one of the founding partners of ERG Capital Partners.
George has both an BSc and MSc in Management Science from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Peter Bang
Managing Director, M&A
Peter heads the firms M&A activities.
Peter has over 24 years of experience as a strategy consultant and investment banker, advising Financial Services and Financial Technology companies globally in capital markets and M&A transactions. After launching his career at LEK Consulting Group, he moved to New York, where he served in the Financial Institutions Groups at Lazard Frères and Fox-Pitt, Kelton. In 2003, he moved to Keefe, Bruyette & Woods (“KBW”), where he led their efforts in M&A advisory as a Managing Director in both the Diversified Financials and Insurance sectors. After the successful IPO and ultimate sale of KBW to Stifel Financial, he joined GCA Advisors in 2014 as a Managing Director.
Peter earned his B.A. from Amherst College and his M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
